Job Summary The IT Support Officer / Developer is responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and optimal performance of IT infrastructure, systems, applications, and end-user devices.

Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure Support:
- Provide first- and second-level technical support to all employees.
- Ensure the smooth operation of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware and software.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues promptly.
- Perform routine maintenance and health checks on all IT equipment.
- Maintain accurate asset and maintenance records.
Microsoft 365 Administration:
- Administer the Microsoft 365 environment, including: Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune (Device Management)
- Create, modify, suspend, and deactivate user accounts.
- Assign and manage Microsoft 365 licenses.
- Configure email security, distribution groups, and shared mailboxes.
- Manage password resets, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access policies.
- Monitor Microsoft 365 security and compliance.
Network Administration:
- Install, configure, monitor, and maintain: Local Area Networks (LAN), Wireless LAN (WLAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Internet connectivity,VPN connections
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
- Ensure optimal network availability across all office locations.
Systems Administration & Management:
- Manage Windows operating systems and servers.
- Maintain file-sharing systems and network resources.
- Support Active Directory administration.
- Monitor server health and performance.
- Perform scheduled updates and maintenance.
- Database Management
Software Development:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain internal software applications.
- Develop automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Support the development and maintenance of ERP modules and business applications.
- Develop APIs and integrations between business systems.
- Maintain and optimize databases.
- Document software architecture and system changes.
ERP and Business Systems Support:
- Support the implementation and administration of ERP solutions.
- Troubleshoot ERP-related issues.
- Work with departments to improve business processes through technology.
- Assist in system testing and user acceptance testing.
- Maintain ERP user accounts and permissions.
Cybersecurity:
- Implement and enforce IT security policies.
- Restrict unauthorized websites, downloads, and software installations.
- Monitor endpoint security.
- Ensure antivirus and security software remain updated.
- Support vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
User Support:
- Respond promptly to user support requests.
- Train employees on new technologies and systems.
- Prepare user guides and documentation.
- Assist users with login issues, software installation, and system configuration.
- Escalate complex issues where necessary.
IT Asset Management:
- Maintain inventory of IT hardware and software.
- Track software licenses and renewals.
- Coordinate procurement of IT equipment.
- Ensure compliance with software licensing requirements.
Backup and Disaster Recovery:
- Monitor data backup processes.
- Test backup and recovery procedures.
- Support disaster recovery planning.
- Ensure business continuity of IT services.
Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop and review IT policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.
- Recommend improvements to IT governance and operational processes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
- Participate in digital transformation projects.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes.
- Recommend solutions that improve productivity and operational efficiency.
Other Responsibilities:
- Support onboarding and offboarding of employees by provisioning and decommissioning system access.
- Participate in IT projects as assigned.
- Provide technical support during company events and training programmes.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, or Software Development.
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 environments.
- Experience supporting ERP systems.
- Experience administering networks, servers, and cloud services.
- Experience developing business applications or automation tools.
- Experience supporting CCTV systems and office IT infrastructure.
- Relevant professional certifications is an added advantage
- Experience with one or more of the following; C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, PHP, HTML/CSS, SQL, REST APIs etc
- Knowledge of mobile application development is an added advantage.
