IT Support Officer
Job summary
A top-tier stockbroking firm, duly licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Nigeria and the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), is seeking a competent and detail-oriented IT Support Officer.

Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day IT support to staff on hardware, software, network, and application issues
- Support the administration of trading systems and back-office applications
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, scanners, IP phones, and related IT infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, data backups, antivirus systems, and cybersecurity controls
- Troubleshoot network, internet, email, and VPN connectivity issues
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and IT asset inventory
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers where necessary
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and relevant capital market regulations on data security and system integrity
- Maintain proper documentation of IT processes, incidents, and resolutions
- Provide IT support during audits, regulatory inspections, and system upgrades
Requirements:
- HND/B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- 1–3 years’ relevant IT support experience (preferably within a stockbroking or investment banking environment)
- Relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage
- Good knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, networking fundamentals, and basic server administration
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and data protection standards
- Experience in supporting trading or stockbroking systems is an added advantage
