Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Provide technical assistance and support to end-users on IT-related issues (hardware, software, network, and security).
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems promptly to minimise downtime.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripherals.
- Assist end-users with software installations, configurations, and daily troubleshooting.
- Conduct staff training sessions or workshops on IT tools, applications, and cybersecurity awareness.
System Administration:
- Administer and maintain servers, network systems, and IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, implementing preventive maintenance measures.
- Perform routine data backups and disaster recovery procedures for business continuity.
- Ensure system updates, patches, and software upgrades are carried out regularly.
- Maintain proper documentation of system configurations and changes.
Security Management:
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard data and systems.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and access control reviews.
- Monitor security logs and alerts, promptly addressing potential incidents or breaches.
- Ensure compliance with company data protection and cybersecurity standards.
IT Projects:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute IT-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new installations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, documentation, and progress reporting.
- Provide technical insight and recommendations for process improvement and innovation.
Documentation and User Support:
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of all IT systems, procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide technical training and guidance to improve staff IT literacy and efficiency.
- Prepare daily and weekly summaries of IT activities, issues, and pending tasks for management reporting.
Asset and Infrastructure Management (Additional Responsibilities):
- Track, label, and maintain IT equipment inventory (laptops, printers, UPS, etc.) in coordination with the Asset Management Unit.
- Configure and monitor network devices such as routers, switches, and MiFi units.
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV and PBX systems, ensuring proper functionality.
- Set up, manage, and extract reports from biometric/fingerprint devices for attendance monitoring.
- Liaise with service providers for internet services, CUG lines, and device repairs.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to support digital platforms and assist with technical aspects of content creation and publication.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux systems administration.
- Proficiency in network configuration, troubleshooting, and system backups.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
