The Solution Advisor serves as a strategic business partner to clients — diagnosing business gaps, recommending ERP and digital transformation solutions, and guiding stakeholders from problem identification to final sign-off. Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Acquisition:
- Identify, prospect, and convert leads into paying clients for ERP, automation, and digital transformation services.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand client pain points and recommend tailored IT/ERP solutions.
- Prepare and deliver engaging solution pitches, sales presentations, and demonstrations (with support from technical teams).
- Develop proposals, quotations, and business cases based on customer requirements.
Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Drive go-to-market strategies for targeted industries (e.g., FMCG, healthcare, retail, logistics, etc.).
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer behaviour to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and nurture partnerships, alliances, and referral channels.
- Collaborate with marketing to create campaigns, webinars, and digital sales funnels.
Solution Advisory & Pre-Sales Support:
- Translate business needs into solution-driven ERP/IT service recommendations.
- Collaborate with implementation teams to align client expectations with solution capabilities.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions prior to project planning phases.
- Participate in solution design discussions and ensure technical and business alignment.
Revenue & Relationship Management:
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline records in CRM tools (HubSpot/Odoo CRM/Zoho, etc.).
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Build long-term client relationships and drive upsells, renewals, and cross-selling opportunities.
Reporting & Strategy Development:
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and sales forecasts.
- Contribute to business strategy and pricing decisions.
- Provide feedback to product/implementation teams based on client insights.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting/Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in solution selling, B2B sales, ERP/software/IT consulting sales, or enterprise business development.
- Strong understanding of business processes (finance, HR, supply chain, sales, manufacturing, etc.).
- Proven ability to sell value-based solutions (not just products).
- Prior experience selling ERP (Odoo/SAP/Microsoft Dynamics/Oracle/Sage) or SaaS solutions is a MAJOR advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (boardroom confidence required).
- Ability to engage C-Level executives and articulate ROI-driven solutions.
- Energetic, persuasive, KPI-driven, with a passion for digital innovation.
