Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Participate actively across all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and support
- Develop, test, and maintain reliable backend and full-stack applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in line with coding standards
- Ensure system designs and implementations comply with approved technical, security, and business specifications
- Prepare, package, and support software releases and patches
- Conduct integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Quality Assurance (QA) testing
- Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes with minimal downtime
- Maintain proper documentation of applications, processes, and system changes
- Collaborate with senior developers, operations, internal control, and business teams
- Support continuous improvement, automation, and innovation initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
- 3–5 years relevant experience in software development or IT systems support
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Java EE
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
- Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MySQL
- Good working knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Strong backend engineering skills, including API development and system integration
- Good understanding of secure coding practices and application security
