IT Officer

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and hardware.
• Ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of company data.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage IT assets, software licences, and technology vendors.
• Oversee data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Ensure the availability and efficiency of business applications and IT systems.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IT regulations and data protection requirements.
• Prepare IT budgets, operational reports, and recommendations for management.
• Lead IT projects, system upgrades, installations, and implementations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience, preferably within a financial institution.
• Relevant professional IT certifications will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, systems management, and data protection.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and technical support.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
