IT Assistant Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support to all staff.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
• Manage the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, Wi Fi, and internet connectivity.
• Administer Microsoft 365, email accounts, cloud services, and user access permissions.
• Monitor and maintain digital LED billboard systems, media players, content scheduling systems, and remote connectivity.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies, antivirus protection, password management, and data backup procedures.
• Maintain an inventory of all IT assets and ensure proper documentation of equipment issued to staff.
• Coordinate with internet service providers and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Support software installations, upgrades, licensing, and system updates.
• Ensure regular backup of company data and participate in disaster recovery planning.
• Prepare periodic IT reports, maintenance schedules, and asset status reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, information security standards, and internal controls.
• Perform any other IT-related duties assigned by Management.
• Liaison with stakeholders: vendors, heads of departments, and the CEO, etc.
• Auxiliary function (applicable to all staff)

Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  Experience
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years' relevant IT support experience.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, cloud services, and endpoint management.
• Experience supporting LED display systems or digital signage solutions is an added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
