Inventory/Procurement Officer
Job summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory / Procurement Officer (Stock Keeper) to manage stock levels, oversee fabric and material procurement, and ensure accurate inventory control within our fashion operations. The ideal candidate must be organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for fabrics, materials, and supplies.
- Measure fabric yardages accurately and ensure proper documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies promptly.
- Procure fabrics and materials from markets and vendors as required.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of stock items.
- Support production and operations teams with timely stock availability.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in stock keeping, inventory management, or procurement.
- Experience within a fashion or garment production environment is an advantage.
- Computer literacy with basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to measure fabric yardages accurately.
- Willingness to go to the market for fabric and material sourcing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
