Inventory Store Manager

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of all site storekeepers to ensure compliance with company inventory standards.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date central record of all materials, tools, and equipment across project sites.
• Develop and implement inventory control systems and standard operating procedures for stock management.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder materials as required to prevent project delays.
• Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliations with project and finance teams.
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of construction materials in line with approved documentation.
• Ensure proper documentation of material movement—goods received notes (GRN), material request forms, and issue vouchers.
• Collaborate with procurement and project managers to forecast material requirements and manage logistics between sites.
• Ensure all inventory records are updated using manual and digital systems (e.g., Excel or inventory software).
• Enforce safety, security, and housekeeping standards within all store facilities.
• Train and mentor storekeepers on stock control procedures and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in inventory/store management within a construction or engineering company.
• Proven experience supervising multiple store locations or teams.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and documentation processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
