We seek an organised and reliable Inventory Officer with 1–3 years’ experience to manage the movement, storage, and tracking of materials across CTL Atlantis project sites. You will monitor stock, coordinate with suppliers and contractors, maintain accurate records, and ensure materials are available, accounted for, and never wasted.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, tools, and equipment against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records across all CTL Atlantis project sites using the designated tracking system.
  • Process and document all material issuances to site teams and contractors, ensuring proper authorisation before release.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and spot checks to verify that physical inventory matches recorded figures.
  • Identify and promptly investigate stock discrepancies, shortages, or damages, and report findings to the Construction Manager.
  • Monitor stock levels and raise timely purchase requests to avoid material shortages that could delay project activities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and procurement on delivery schedules, ensuring materials arrive on site as and when required.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and secure store environment at all times.
  • Support the Quantity Surveyor with accurate materials consumption data for cost tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure that all inventory documentation — delivery notes, issue slips, stock count sheets is filed accurately and is easily retrievable.


Requirements:

  • HND or BSc in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in an inventory, stores, or materials management role, with experience on a construction or property development site, is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in inventory or stock management software; experience with Excel for record-keeping is essential.
  • Strong numerical accuracy - you will be handling quantities, delivery figures, and consumption data daily.
  • Highly organised with a methodical approach to filing, record-keeping, and physical stock arrangement.
  • Honest and reliable - this role involves managing valuable materials and equipment on behalf of the company.
  • Good communication skills - able to coordinate effectively with site teams, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the store function without needing constant supervision.
  • Physical presence on site daily - this is not a remote or office-only role.
  • Discipline around documentation - every item in and out must be recorded, every time, without exception.
  • Proactive communication - low stock, missing items, and delivery delays must be flagged before they become problems.
  • Comfort in a fast-moving construction environment where priorities can shift quickly.
  • A strong sense of personal accountability - you are the custodian of company assets on site.
