Responsibilities:
Inventory Control & Accuracy:
- Keeps clear and accurate stock records
- Updates inventory daily without excuses
- Understands FIFO / batch tracking (especially for perishables)
- Tracks what enters and leaves the freezer/store at all times
Stock Planning & OOS Prevention:
- Anticipates stock depletion
- Reorders on time
- Communicates early with procurement/admin
- Never waits until stock finishes
Documentation & Reporting:
- Comfortable with Google Sheets
- Produces weekly and monthly inventory reports
- Documents raw materials used by bakers and decorators
Loss Prevention & Accountability:
- Takes responsibility for wastage, mismanagement, or theft
- Investigates discrepancies
- Flags risks early
Collaboration & Compliance:
- Works closely with baker, decorator, admin, procurement
- Follows SOPs strictly
- Maintains a clean, safe store environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND educational qualification.
- The ideal candidate must have 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Very familiar with inventory apps and can work well with Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication skills, excellent time management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must be hardworking and honest. Must live very close to Bodija, Ibadan.
