Job summary
The International Business Development Manager will lead Techvora’s client-acquisition activities across the UK and Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a qualified sales pipeline, engaging decision-makers, understanding prospective clients’ technology challenges and converting opportunities into profitable contracts.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business-development strategy for the UK and European markets.
- Identify companies that could benefit from Techvora’s IT services.
- Research and engage relevant decision-makers, including founders, directors, operations managers, IT managers and procurement leaders.
- Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, telephone prospecting, referrals, networking and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ business needs, technology challenges, budgets and decision-making processes.
- Present Techvora’s managed IT, Microsoft cloud, cybersecurity, consulting and staffing solutions.
- Prepare professional proposals, quotations, presentations and service agreements.
- Manage the complete sales process from initial contact to contract signature.
- Negotiate commercially viable terms while protecting the company’s margins.
- Maintain accurate prospect, pipeline and activity records in the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and properly scoped.
- Build relationships with technology partners, referral partners and other potential sales channels.
- Monitor competitors, pricing trends and customer requirements across the target markets.
- Provide weekly pipeline reports, forecasts and updates to management.
- Support client onboarding and maintain relationships that encourage renewals, referrals and additional sales.
Requirements:
- At least three years of successful B2B sales or business-development experience.
- Demonstrable experience selling technology services, managed services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, IT consulting or IT staffing.
- Experience prospecting or selling to companies in the UK or Europe.
- Evidence of personally generating leads, managing sales opportunities and closing contracts.
- Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling.
- Excellent spoken and written English, German is a plus.
- Strong cold-emailing, LinkedIn prospecting, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Experience preparing business proposals and commercial quotations.
- Practical experience with CRM and sales-prospecting tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet revenue targets in a remote environment.
- Reliable internet access and a suitable professional remote-working environment.
- Availability to work hours that provide sufficient overlap with UK and European business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune or related Microsoft solutions.
- Familiarity with managed IT support and recurring-service contracts.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, endpoint management and cloud-service models.
- Existing professional relationships or networks within the UK or European SME market.
- Experience selling outsourced IT services to small and medium-sized businesses.
- A degree or professional qualification in business, marketing, information technology or a related field.
- Familiarity with UK/EU procurement expectations and GDPR-conscious business prospecting.
Performance Expectations
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Build a consistent and properly qualified UK/EU sales pipeline.
- Secure qualified discovery meetings with relevant decision-makers.
- Submit accurate, commercially viable proposals.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date CRM records.
- Provide reliable sales forecasts and weekly performance reports.
- Secure the first paying client within approximately 90–120 days.
- Meet agreed quarterly pipeline and revenue targets.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Remuneartion: NGN 600,000–700,000, Monthly subject to experience and statutory deductions.
- Additional performance-based commission on qualifying completed sales.
