International Admissions Counsellor

Responsibilities:

• Counsel students on study opportunities in the UK and Europe
• Assess students' academic backgrounds and recommend suitable universities and programmes
• Handle university applications from initial enquiry through to admission
• Review and prepare application documents
• Follow up on offers, conditions, deposits and other admission requirements
• Communicate with universities and admissions teams
• Support students with visa documentation and pre-departure guidance
• Keep accurate records of student applications and follow-ups
• Stay updated on university requirements, intakes, tuition fees and admission policies
• Follow up with students and ensure applications progress within required timelines

Requirements:

• Previous experience in study abroad counselling or international education is required
• Good knowledge of UK university admissions
• Good understanding of European study destinations, particularly countries such as Finland, France and Italy
• Practical experience processing university applications
• Understanding of admission requirements, offer conditions and student documentation
• Strong communication and counselling skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple student applications
• Ability to work independently and meet targets
• Experience with university/agent portals and CRM systems is an advantage
