Internal Audit Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a skilled Internal Audit Manager for our supermarket outlets in Iyana Isashi, Lagos State and Ajuwon/Akute, Ogun State branch. The role involves overseeing internal audit operations to ensure compliance, effective risk management, and optimal operational performance.

Responsibilities:
- Develop audit plans, conduct audits (inventory, cash handling, compliance)
- Identify risks, recommend controls
- Vetting of supplies invoices
- Cash verification
- Review financial transactions, ensure accuracy
- Report findings to management, track implementation of recommendations
- Collaborate with departments to improve processes
- Assists in the formulation and preparation of loss control and security risk management initiatives in the organization.
- Assists in drawing security work plans and programs for each Business Unit.
- Assists in carrying out investigations for all cases involving employees at all levels.
- Conducts security vetting of prospective employees.
- Assists in the supervision of the day-to-day work of contracted security companies.
- Promotes security and risk control awareness, i.e., crime prevention and awareness campaigns.
- Checks on the enforcement of controls in the company.
- Assist in coordinating the emergency preparedness systems for the Company, e.g., fire system.
- Allocates duties to subordinates (depot security staff) and establishes a timetable for effective supervision.
Requirements:
- HND/BSc in accounting or related fields.
- Experience in audit/internal control.
- Knowledge of retail operations.
- Analytical, detail-oriented.
- Relevant certifications (Progress stage in ICAN or ACCA will be an advantage).
