Intermediate UI Designer
Job descriptions & requirements
- Ability to work under timelines and changing priorities
- Experience using UI/UX design tools and design systems
- Familiarity with responsive design, front end frameworks, and collaboration platforms
- Understanding of usability, scalability, and accessibility standards
- Ability to follow documentation and design governance standards
- Ability to maintain UI specifications, user flows, and design artefacts
- Strong discipline in documentation and handover processes
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and usability standards
- Ability to translate business requirements into user centric designs
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders
- Awareness of accessibility and secure design considerations
- Understanding of enterprise design and governance standards
- Ability to support multiple projects where required
- Ability to quickly adapt to new platforms and design requirements
- Working effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Working under defined timelines and adapting to changing priorities and demand
Qualifications & Experience Required
- 7–15+ years of relevant professional experience depending on role level (Intermediate,
Specialist, or Consultant).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering,
Information Systems, Design, Business, or equivalent).
- Postgraduate degree or relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Must have completed NYSC
- Demonstrated experience working in enterprise scale digital, IT, or technology environments
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery (Scrum / Kanban), and cross functional
collaboration
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
