Interior Designer
Job summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to conceptualize, plan, and execute functional, aesthetically pleasing, and client-focused interior spaces. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers to transform residential, commercial, and corporate spaces into environments.

Responsibilities:
Design & Space Planning:
- Meet with clients to understand project requirements, preferences, objectives, and budget.
- Develop creative interior design concepts, mood boards, layouts, and presentations.
- Create detailed space plans, furniture layouts, and design specifications.
- Select color schemes, materials, finishes, lighting, furnishings, and décor elements.
- Produce sketches, drawings, and 3D visualizations for client approval.
Project Management:
- Coordinate interior design projects from concept development through completion.
- Prepare project timelines, budgets, and cost estimates.
- Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to design specifications and deadlines.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and address design-related issues.
- Collaborate with contractors, artisans, vendors, and suppliers throughout project execution.
Client Relationship Management:
- Present design proposals and recommendations to clients.
- Incorporate client feedback into design revisions.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide professional advice on design trends, functionality, and sustainability.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Prepare design documentation, specifications, and procurement schedules.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate project records and reports.
- Assist with sourcing and procurement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
Market Research & Innovation:
- Stay updated on current design trends, materials, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Research innovative design solutions that improve aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
- Recommend cost-effective alternatives without compromising design quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in interior design or a similar role.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D Max, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing completed interior design projects.
- Excellent creativity, visualization, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
