Job summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Architect to design functional, aesthetically pleasing, and safe interior spaces. The candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing detailed drawings, and overseeing project execution to ensure that all interior works meet client expectations and industry standards.

- Determine the placement of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and decorative elements to maximize space utilization and create harmonious environments.
- Consider factors such as lighting, acoustics, accessibility, and sustainability while planning interior spaces.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, colors, and textures to create the desired ambiance and aesthetic appeal.
- Research and stay updated on the latest trends, products, and technologies in the interior design industry.
- Prepare detailed specifications and material boards that outline the selected materials and finishes for the project.
- Create compelling presentations and visual representations of design concepts using software tools like CAD (Computer-Aided Design), 3D modeling, and rendering software.
- Develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, and schedules for contractors and construction teams.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including design plans, material specifications, and project-related communications.
- Foster positive and collaborative relationships with clients by understanding their needs, providing professional advice, and addressing their concerns.
- Present design proposals, iterate based on client feedback, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the design process.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (a Master's degree may be preferred for senior positions).
- Proven experience (3 years) in interior design, preferably with a focus on architectural projects.
- Proficiency in design software tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D Studio Max, or similar applications.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to interior design.
- Excellent creativity and artistic skills, with an eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
- Ability to communicate design ideas effectively through visual presentations, drawings, and verbal/written communication.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and familiarity with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) principles are desirable.
