Interim Operations Lead (Investment & Due Diligence)

The Opportunity

Strategic Quad Ventures is a strategic investment firm that identifies and scales high-potential businesses. We are currently in the final stages of acquisition of a business, and we are seeking a sharp, high-integrity Interim Operations Lead to act as our "boots on the ground."

This is a critical role. You will be the primary representative of the firm on-site, responsible for ensuring that what we see on paper matches the reality on the floor. Once the acquisition is finalised, the role is designed to evolve into a long-term leadership position focused on post-acquisition growth and scaling.

Salary: from ₦200,000

Role Objective

Your mission is twofold: Safeguard and Verify. You will conduct thorough operational due diligence and inventory audits to ensure the business is in peak condition for the transition. You are there to prevent revenue leakage, validate assets, and identify the levers we need to pull to drive future profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Asset & Inventory Audit: Conduct a full physical audit of arcade hardware, consoles, and VR equipment. Verify condition and maintenance status against the asset register.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor daily revenue streams; reconcile digital and cash payments with POS reports to ensure 100% transparency during the transition.
• Operational Due Diligence: Review opening/closing protocols, security, and vendor compliance. Identify any "red flags" or hidden liabilities.
• Personnel & Culture: Assess staff morale and performance. Act as the stabilising face of the transition to minimise turnover.
• Reporting: Deliver a Weekly Condition Report directly to the Partners, highlighting revenue discrepancies, equipment downtime, or facility risks.

The Ideal Candidate

• The "Audit" Mindset: You have a background in operations management, business auditing, or retail leadership. You notice the details others miss.
• Industry Savvy: Familiarity with gaming hardware, VR, or POS software is a significant plus.
• High Integrity: You will be handling sensitive financial data and high-value assets; professional ethics are non-negotiable.
