Job summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Intercontinental Chef to prepare high-quality continental and international dishes while maintaining excellent taste, presentation, and kitchen standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, kitchen coordination, and ensuring exceptional dining experiences for guests

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present a variety of intercontinental and international dishes
- Develop menus and create new recipes based on customer preferences and industry trends
- Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
- Supervise kitchen operations and coordinate with kitchen staff when required
- Monitor food preparation processes to ensure hygiene and safety compliance
- Manage food inventory and request kitchen supplies when necessary
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and equipment
- Minimize food waste and ensure cost-effective kitchen operations
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals during service hours
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Train junior kitchen staff on food preparation techniques when necessary
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE qualification; Culinary certification is an advantage
- Proven experience as an Intercontinental Chef or similar culinary role
- Strong knowledge of continental and international cuisines
- Excellent cooking, presentation, and menu planning skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good organizational and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
