Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance (PPM) and emergency breakdown repairs on vegetable oil extraction machinery, seed-crushing presses, industrial
• pumps, and packaging lines.
• Troubleshoot and fix faults on electrical panels, three-phase industrial motors, Variable
• Frequency Drives (VFDs), relays, contactors, and Star-Delta/DOL motor starters.
• Monitor, test, and maintain factory backup power utilities, including industrial diesel generators, ATS panels, and distribution boards.
• Diagnose mechanical or electrical faults using multimeters, insulation testers (Megger) , and technical diagrams.
• Assist the mechanical team when needed to minimize production line downtime.
• Enforce safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout ( LOTO ), safe isolation, and food-grade hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• A minimum of an OND, or Federal Ministry of Labour Trade Test (Grade 1 or 2) in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3 + years of practical experience as an electrical or maintenance technician in a manufacturing, food production, or industrial factory setting.
• Strong capability in tracing electrical faults, rewriting control panels, and diagnosing semi- automated machinery.
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to work shifts if required.

Remuneration: NGN 130,000 - 150,000 Monthly (Negotiable)
