Incentives and Governance Analyst
Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Incentives & Governance Analyst to support commercial performance tracking, incentive calculations, governance documentation, and sales operations.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage monthly TTC calculations.
- Coordinate and support quarterly KAM JBP and Sub-D JBP processes.
- Manage quarterly Nivealand Incentives calculations.
- Calculate and validate monthly Sales Team Incentive Rewards.
- Maintain year-round governance documentation, contracts, approvals, and tracking.
- Maintain commercial trackers and prepare management presentation decks.
- Reconcile data and investigate discrepancies, exceptions, and calculation errors.
- Ensure incentive calculations are accurate, properly documented, and supported by clear audit trails.
- Support process improvement, automation, and the use of digital/AI tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related analytical field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in Commercial Analytics, Sales Operations, Finance, Customer Development, Trade Marketing, or a related role. FMCG experience is preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, data reconciliation, and complex formula management.
- Power Query experience is an advantage.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability, with the capacity to work with large datasets and identify inconsistencies.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling incentive and financial payout calculations.
- Good understanding of sales performance metrics, targets, achievement calculations, and incentive/reward mechanics.
- Strong governance mindset, including documentation, version control, approval processes, reconciliation, and audit trails.
- Ability to independently manage recurring monthly and quarterly deliverables within strict timelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and investigate the root cause of discrepancies.
- Good stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain calculations and issues to Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders.
- Power BI/data visualization skills are preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in process improvement, automation, and AI/digital tools.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Remuneration: NGN 220,000 Monthly
- Housing/Transportation Incentives: NGN 80,000
- Data Allowance: NGN 20,000
- HMO: NGN 6,000
- Pension Contribution: 10%
