Job summary

We are seeking a proactive In-House Sales Representative to drive sales from our office or showroom by engaging prospective and existing customers, promoting the company's products and services, and converting inquiries into sales.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Attend to walk-in customers and provide professional product or service recommendations.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, social media, and other communication channels.
  • Generate sales by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable products or services.
  • Prepare quotations, invoices, and sales orders accurately.
  • Follow up on leads, quotations, and customer inquiries to convert prospects into paying customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Meet and exceed assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and transactions using CRM or sales tracking systems.
  • Coordinate with inventory, operations, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products and services to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Stay informed about product features, pricing, promotions, and market trends.
  • Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates on sales performance and customer feedback.


Requirements:

  • Proven years of experience in sales, customer service, retail, or business development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer applications.
  • Experience using CRM software or Point-of-Sale (POS) systems is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and results-oriented.
