Impact Report Designer
Job summary
We are commissioning a professionally designed 5-Year Impact Report to mark an important milestone in an organisation’s work for Africans living with Parkinson's disease. This report will tell the story of a journey of community-rooted impact made possible by the power of mission-aligned leadership and partnerships. It will highlight how these efforts have improved the lives of people living with Parkinson’s disease. We’re particularly interested in hearing from experienced impact designers who enjoy working at the intersection of data, storytelling, and social impact and who value clarity and purposeful collaboration as much as strong visual craft. This is a paid, remote, time-bound engagement.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design a visually strong 5-year Impact Report (digital-first; print-friendly)
- Apply existing brand colours, fonts, and visual guidelines
- Create or refine custom infographics, charts, and visual storytelling elements
- Structure content for meaningful flow and narrative impact
- Collaborate with our team to incorporate feedback and revisions
- Deliver final files in editable and export-ready formats
Requirements:
- Proven experience designing impact reports, annual reports, or equivalent publications
- Strong understanding of impact storytelling and communications for positioning
- Ability to work with information and make it accessible and engaging
- High attention to detail and strong aesthetic judgment
- Open, collaborative working style and flexibility with feedback
- Comfortable working remotely
- Experience working with non-profits, foundations, or social impact organisations is a plus
- Basic understanding of data visualisation best practices
