Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair a variety of ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and associated equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency.
- Execute precise installation, including gas welding, for Split AC units.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities.
- Operate chillers, air handling units, chilled water pumps, split air-conditioning units, and package units to ensure effective cooling, while maintaining accurate operational logs.
- Adhere to safety procedures related to maintenance and engineering activities.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), or a recognized Trade Test Certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of practical work experience as an AC technician or in a similar HVAC-related role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in working with diverse HVAC systems, including air conditioners, refrigerator units, and heating pump systems.
