Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in diverse HVAC systems.
- Routine Maintenance: Execute preventative maintenance schedules, filter changes, and system tune-ups to maximize efficiency.
- System Commissioning: Install, test, and balance new commercial and residential HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to urgent breakdown calls, minimizing system downtime for critical clients.
- Customer Advisory: Explain technical issues clearly to clients and recommend energy-efficient upgrades or replacement parts.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to industry safety standards and HVAC handling regulations.
- Digital Reporting: Maintain precise digital logs of service work, parts used, labor hours, and equipment conditions.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in HVAC systems, installation, and maintenance
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of split systems, VRF/VRV units, chillers, heat pumps, and air handling units.
- Diagnostic Tools: Proficiency using multi-meters, pressure gauges, vacuum pumps, and leak detectors
