The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems while managing project execution and leading a team of HVAC professionals.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the HVAC department, ensuring efficient project delivery and team performance.
- Design, review, and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor HVAC projects from inception to completion.
- Review HVAC and MEP drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
- Ensure all HVAC works comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare project schedules, reports, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
- Monitor project quality, timelines, budgets, and safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and implement effective engineering solutions.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience in HVAC design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Proven experience working in MEP contracting or construction project environments.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing HVAC teams and multiple projects.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC/MEP drawings and technical specifications.
- Sound knowledge of HVAC standards, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional certification or membership (e.g., COREN, NSE, ASHRAE, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
