HVAC Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop HVAC systems based on project requirements and applicable standards.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and calculations for HVAC installations.
• Convert PDF drawings and sketches into accurate AutoCAD drawings and layouts.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC equipment and systems.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot system issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform load calculations and energy efficiency assessments.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry codes.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines during project execution.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentation.
• Provide technical support to clients and maintenance teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in HVAC design, installation, or maintenance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to convert PDF drawings into editable AutoCAD files.
• Familiarity with HVAC design software and relevant industry standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and project management abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
• Relevant certifications or professional memberships are an advantage.
• Experience with energy-efficient HVAC systems, chilled water systems, and VRF systems.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and local building codes.
• Ownership of a laptop with AutoCAD installed is an added advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
