Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- HVAC Layout Design: Develop detailed ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Load Calculations: Perform precise heating and cooling load calculations for residential homes and commercial spaces.
- BIM Coordination: Coordinate 3D models with architectural, structural, and electrical layouts to eliminate design clashes.
- Equipment Sizing: Specify and size appropriate equipment, including split systems, VRF units, chillers, and air handlers.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all building designs comply with local building codes, energy codes, and ASHRAE standards.
- Plan Modification: Revise and update existing design drawings based on client feedback or site modifications.
- Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive equipment schedules, technical specifications, and construction documents.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in HVAC system design.
- Technical
Expertise: Proficiency in HVAC design software, AutoCAD
MEP, Revit, and other engineering tools.
- Communication: Strong analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
