HR MANAGER JD FOR PAXAL PAY LTD
JOB PURPOSE:
To design, implement, and manage people operations for a fast-growing fintech company by building scalable HR systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, supporting a high-performance culture, and enabling the company to attract, retain, and develop top tech and business talent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
•
Recruit top tech and business talent (engineers, product, compliance, risk, sales, support).
•
Implement fast, structured hiring processes aligned with fintech compliance rules.
•
Lead employer branding initiatives to position the company as a top tech workplace.
•
Create manpower plans to meet scaling targets and product launch timelines.
2. Employee Onboarding & Experience
•
Create digital-first onboarding processes (HRIS, IT access, documentation).
•
Manage 0–90 days onboarding performance and employee assimilation.
•
Design engagement strategies for hybrid/remote teams.
3. Learning & Development
•
Implement technical and soft-skill training (product knowledge, compliance, cybersecurity, customer excellence, leadership).
•
Build career pathways and competency frameworks for tech and business roles.
•
Track training effectiveness and learning ROI.
4. Performance Management
•
Implement OKRs/KPIs for departments aligned with fintech regulatory expectations.
•
Manage quarterly reviews and performance calibration.
•
Support leadership in reward and recognition decisions.
5. Compensation & Benefits
•
Ensure competitive salary benchmarking with tech industry standards.
•
Manage payroll, statutory deductions, and performance bonuses.
•
Recommend benefits (HMO, pension, wellness, learning budget).
6. HR Policy, Compliance & Administration
•
Maintain HR policies compliant with labour laws and fintech regulatory bodies (CBN, NDIC, Data Protection Laws).
•
Ensure compliance with data privacy (NDPR/GDPR).
•
Manage disciplinary processes, grievances, and exit procedures.
7. Culture, Engagement & Internal Communication
•
Promote values of innovation, transparency, agility, and compliance.
•
Drive culture-building initiatives, team bonding, and communication channels.
•
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies.
8. HR Technology & Digital Tools
•
Use and manage HR systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll tools, performance tools).
