Human Resources (HR) Officer

Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite)

Location: 127 Abaranje road before ola farm bus stop Ikotun lagos

Salary: ₦250,000

Experience Level: Minimum of 3 years experience

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive, well-organized, and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to manage the daily HR operations of our supermarket in Ikotun, Lagos. The successful candidate will support staff recruitment, employee relations, and ensure smooth HR processes across the business.

Role Responsibilities:

Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and staff documentation

Maintain accurate employee records and HR files

Manage attendance, shifts, leave schedules, and staff welfare

Provide payroll inputs and collaborate closely with the Accountant

Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution

Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies

Support performance management and staff appraisals

Coordinate training and development initiatives

Promote a positive, structured, and productive work environment.

Requirements:

HND or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years’ HR experience (retail or supermarket experience is an advantage)

Strong understanding of HR practices and Nigerian labor laws

Highly organized, proactive, loyal, and detail-oriented

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle confidential information professionally
