Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization’s business goals and growth objectives.
- Provide strategic advisory support to management on people management, structure, and organizational development.
- Drive initiatives that promote employee engagement, high performance, and a culture of accountability.
- Use HR data and analytics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Lead the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent across all departments.
- Oversee onboarding, learning, and retention programs that enhance employee engagement and productivity.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future organizational needs, and implement succession planning frameworks that ensure leadership continuity.
- Design and manage performance management systems that encourage accountability, measurable results, and continuous growth.
- Support line managers in setting performance goals, conducting appraisals, and managing underperformance.
- Analyze performance data to identify development gaps and recommend targeted improvement initiatives that drive overall team performance.
- Review and recommend organizational structures that improve efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with leadership to define clear roles, reporting lines, and responsibilities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture that reflects the organization’s values and encourages teamwork, innovation, and adaptability.
- Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in employee record management, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
- Supervise and mentor members of the HR team, promoting professional growth and teamwork.
- Develop, communicate, and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are consistently applied across the organization.
- Prepare and present HR reports and insights to support informed management decisions.
- Ensure adherence to Nigerian labor laws, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage disciplinary and grievance processes with fairness, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Keep leadership informed of changes in employment legislation and emerging compliance risks.
- Conduct regular HR audits to maintain compliance standards and strengthen employee trust in HR processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum BSc
