As the Human Resources Analyst at MaterialsPro, you will be responsible for building and overseeing core HR functions across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, performance management, employee development, and workplace culture. Responsibilities:
Employee Records & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and secure employee records.
- Ensure full compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Regularly update HR policies in line with Nigeria’s labor legislation.
- Support HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) adherence, particularly in construction environments.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Develop and implement recruitment processes aligned with company values.
- Lead recruitment campaigns to attract and hire qualified talent.
- Facilitate seamless onboarding processes that integrate new hires effectively.
Employee Engagement & Retention:
- Foster a positive workplace culture with high levels of staff engagement.
- Design and implement staff welfare and recognition initiatives.
- Track and improve employee satisfaction and retention.
Training & Development:
- Identify and implement training programs that align with team needs.
- Support individual development plans and career growth pathways.
- Monitor ROI of training investments.
Performance Management:
- Coordinate biannual performance appraisal processes.
- Ensure feedback mechanisms and goal setting are implemented across teams.
- Support managers in delivering clear, actionable feedback.
Payroll Coordination:
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll collation for finance processing.
- Maintain data integrity across attendance, leave, and payroll systems.
Exit & Offboarding:
- Manage offboarding processes to ensure compliance and continuity.
- Conduct exit interviews and capture feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- HND
- 3 years experience
Key Results (OKRs)
- 100% compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies.
- At least 98% employee engagement score (tracked via periodic pulse checks).
- Zero payroll errors in monthly collation.
- 100% completion rate for biannual performance reviews.
- Regular training programmes delivered to all employees.
- Timely policy updates in line with labour legislation changes.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of compliance/regulatory breaches = 0
- Number of unresolved HR issues/conflicts < 2 per quarter
- Payroll collation accuracy = 100%
- Training ROI = At least 70% of employees apply learnings within 30 days
- Performance appraisal completion = 100%
- Weekly HR reports submitted on time = 100%
