Human Resource Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and processes.
  
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation.
  
• Oversee payroll preparation, attendance, leave, and employee records.
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable Nigerian labour laws and statutory requirements.
  
• Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
  
• Coordinate performance management, appraisals, and employee development.
• Support workforce planning and succession planning.
  
• Develop and maintain job descriptions and organizational structures.
  
• Monitor employee engagement, workplace culture, and staff welfare.
  
• Prepare HR reports and provide management with insights on workforce matters.
  
• Support health, safety, and workplace policies relevant to the energy industry.
  
• Ensure HR practices align with the company’s operational and business objectives.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management, preferably within the energy, oil and gas, engineering, or related industry.
  
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
  
• Experience with recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and performance management.
  
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
  
• Professional HR certification such as CIPM is an added advantage.

Remuneration: NGN 300,000.
