We are seeking an experienced and self-driven HR Generalist to join our remote team on a 3-month contract basis. The successful candidate will support HR operations and deliver quality HR services across our client base. This role requires someone comfortable working independently in a remote environment while maintaining professionalism.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for client organisations, including job posting, screening, and onboarding coordination
  • Provide HR advisory support to clients on employee relations, discipline, and HR best practices
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Administer HR records, contracts, and HRIS data for multiple client accounts
  • Support performance management processes, including appraisal coordination
  • Ensure HR compliance with Nigerian labour law and relevant regulations
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics for internal and client use
  • Coordinate learning and development activities as required


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
  • A master's degree in HR or a related discipline is an advantage
  • CIPM membership or other relevant HR certification is highly desirable:
  • Minimum of 2 years of generalist HR experience
  • Prior experience in an HR consultancy or multi-client environment is a strong advantage
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Nigerian labour law and HR compliance
  • Strong knowledge of core HR functions: recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR admin
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HRIS tools is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a consultative approach to HR


Remote Work Requirements:

This is a fully remote role. Candidates must have:

  • A functional personal laptop or desktop computer
  • Stable, reliable internet connection
  • A quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions
  • Ability to be online, responsive, and productive from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively without in-person supervision


What We Offer:

  • Remuneration: NGN 150,000 (net of tax)
  • Contract Duration: 3 months
  • Review: Contract may be renewed or converted based on performance at the end of the initial term
