About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the HR department. The ideal candidate will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, staff communication, compliance processes, and general HR administration.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about people operations, highly professional, tech-savvy, and able to thrive in a fast-paced remote work environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting employee experience, maintaining HR processes, and ensuring smooth workforce operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end recruitment processes for tutors and administrative staff, including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication, onboarding, and documentation
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a smooth employee experience for new hires
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and databases while ensuring confidentiality and proper organization
  • Support attendance tracking, staff documentation, probation follow-ups, and other HR administrative processes
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, staff communication, and culture-building activities across the organization
  • Coordinate and follow up on staff training, meetings, appraisals, and performance review processes
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide administrative HR support in a timely and professional manner
  • Support disciplinary, compliance, and employee relations processes by maintaining proper documentation and escalation records
  • Assist in preparing HR reports, trackers, and operational updates as required by management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and workplace standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support smooth workforce operations across multiple time zones
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR systems, workflows, and digital processes
  • Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, fairness, and ethical workplace practices in all HR activities


Requirements


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Professional HR certifications required, such as:

    • CIPD (UK)

    • SHRM-SCP

    • HRCI-SPHR

  • Minimum 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, including:

    • Working in blue-chip or multinational companies.

    • Experience in EdTech, e-learning, or digital-first environments.

    • Managing remote and distributed teams across multiple time zones.

  • Proven track record in:

    • Supporting HR strategy and organizational development.

    • Implementing HR digital transformation and modern HR systems.

  • Strong knowledge of global labor laws, remote work compliance, and HR technologies.

● Base salary starting from gross monthly of N200,000 monthly.
