HSE Safety Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Monitor site safety compliance daily, including PPE usage.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and briefings on site-specific hazards.
• Assist in enforcing HSE policies and site rules among workers and subcontractors.
• Report unsafe acts and conditions immediately to the HSE Officer or Site Supervisor.
• Assist during emergency evacuations and drills, guiding workers to assembly points. 
• Inspect work areas regularly to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Support incident/near-miss reporting and assist in preliminary investigations. 
• Ensure first aid kits and fire extinguishers are in place and accessible on site. 
• Remind workers to maintain good housekeeping practices (e.g., clear walkways, proper material stacking).
• Act as the liaison between workers and the HSE Officer for safety concerns.
• Ensure visitors and new workers receive site safety inductions before entry.
• Observe high-risk activities (e.g., working at heights, confined spaces) and stop unsafe operations if immediate danger is observed.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of HSE laws, risk assessment, and emergency procedures.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE reporting tools.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence.
• Integrity, vigilance and the ability to influence compliance diplomatically.
