Job Summary

Our dental clinic is committed to providing exceptional oral health care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HR Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should reside in the Lekki-Ajah area of Lagos and possess a strong understanding of human resources practices within the healthcare industry.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for various positions.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new hires.

Employee Relations:

  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts.
  • Promote a positive work environment and foster employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.

Performance Management:

  • Implement performance appraisal systems.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist in developing training programs to enhance employee skills.

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, leave, and retirement plans.
  • Educate employees about available benefits and assist with enrollment.

HR Documentation and Records:

  • Maintain accurate personnel records. Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR-related documents.
  • Handle employee data confidentially.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety training sessions for staff.
  • Investigate and report any workplace incidents.

Payroll and Compensation:

  • Collaborate with finance to process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Monitor salary adjustments, bonuses, and incentives.
  • Address payroll-related queries from employees.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role.
  • Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Candidates should reside in the Lekki-Ajah area of Lagos.
