Job summary

We are seeking a skilled and people-centred HR Manager to lead the human resources function across our group of business units. The ideal candidate will drive talent acquisition, staff development, performance management, and policy compliance in a fast-paced, multi-business environment.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and frameworks across all business units.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes — from job profiling and shortlisting to offer and onboarding.
  • Manage performance appraisal cycles, probation reviews, and confirmation processes.
  • Coordinate staff training, learning & development initiatives, and succession planning.
  • Handle employee relations, disciplinary proceedings, and grievance resolution in line with Nigerian labour law.
  • Maintain and update HR records, including contracts, personnel files, and leave management systems.
  • Advise management and BU leads on people-related matters and organisational structure.
  • Partner with Finance on payroll inputs, staff welfare, and headcount budgeting.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly HR reports for leadership review.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong working knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing HR across multiple departments or business units is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • CIPM certification or membership of a recognised HR professional body is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
