Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded HR Manager to lead all human resources functions across the group. This is a generalist role with a strong emphasis on payroll management, employee relations, talent acquisition, and people operations.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle across all group entities — from onboarding to offboarding
  • Administer and manage monthly payroll accurately and in compliance with Nigerian labour regulations and tax obligations
  • Drive talent acquisition efforts across the group, including job advertising, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer management
  • Develop and implement employee onboarding programmes that set new hires up for success
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive, productive, and inclusive workplace culture
  • Administer compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring competitiveness and internal equity
  • Manage performance management processes, including appraisal cycles, feedback frameworks, and performance improvement plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, employee files, and HRIS data
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour law and statutory requirements (pension, PAYE, HMO, NSITF, ITF)
  • Provide advisory support to line managers on HR matters including disciplinary procedures, grievances, and employee relations
  • Develop and update HR policies and the employee handbook as the organisation evolves


Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3 – 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience, with a strong grounding in payroll management
  • HR certification is required — CIPM or PHRI
  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labour law, tax regulations, and statutory compliance
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll processes
  • Strong track record in talent acquisition and employee engagement
  • Experience with performance management frameworks and appraisal administration
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity
  • Experience supporting multiple business units or a multi-entity organisation is an advantage


Remuneration: NGN 300,000 - 350,000


Employment Type: Full-Time


Location: Lekki, Lagos
