HR Manager
Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded HR Manager to lead all human resources functions across the group. This is a generalist role with a strong emphasis on payroll management, employee relations, talent acquisition, and people operations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the full employee lifecycle across all group entities — from onboarding to offboarding
- Administer and manage monthly payroll accurately and in compliance with Nigerian labour regulations and tax obligations
- Drive talent acquisition efforts across the group, including job advertising, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer management
- Develop and implement employee onboarding programmes that set new hires up for success
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive, productive, and inclusive workplace culture
- Administer compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring competitiveness and internal equity
- Manage performance management processes, including appraisal cycles, feedback frameworks, and performance improvement plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, employee files, and HRIS data
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour law and statutory requirements (pension, PAYE, HMO, NSITF, ITF)
- Provide advisory support to line managers on HR matters including disciplinary procedures, grievances, and employee relations
- Develop and update HR policies and the employee handbook as the organisation evolves
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3 – 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience, with a strong grounding in payroll management
- HR certification is required — CIPM or PHRI
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labour law, tax regulations, and statutory compliance
- Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll processes
- Strong track record in talent acquisition and employee engagement
- Experience with performance management frameworks and appraisal administration
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity
- Experience supporting multiple business units or a multi-entity organisation is an advantage
Remuneration: NGN 300,000 - 350,000
