Job summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented NYSC Corps Member to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee records management, onboarding, performance management, and administrative activities while gaining practical experience in Human Resources.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment activities, including job posting, CV screening, and interview scheduling.
- Support onboarding and orientation of new employees.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare HR letters, reports, memos, and other documentation.
- Assist in tracking employee attendance and leave records.
- Support training and employee engagement activities.
- Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of employee information.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department.
- Participate in HR projects and other assignments as directed by the HR Manager.
Requirements:
- Currently serving in the NYSC program or seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Eagerness to learn and build a career in Human Resources.
