Housekeeper
Location: Yaba, Lagos.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily cleaning, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation for staff, visitors, and occupants.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting all assigned areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, common areas, meeting rooms, and other facility spaces.
- Empty waste bins and ensure proper disposal of refuse following safety procedures.
- Refill consumables such as tissue paper, soap, and hand sanitizers.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to the Facility Manager promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and request replenishment where necessary.
- Observe workplace health, safety, and confidentiality standards.
- Assist with setting up and cleaning after special events, meetings, or facility activities.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and hygiene protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum of Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.
- Prior experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or facility maintenance preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of hygiene standards and cleaning procedures is an added advantage.
