Responsibilities:
- Creating a comfortable environment for visitors by giving a warm welcome and appropriate answers to questions
- Generating new leads for the company by giving answers to enquiries and introducing other products to clients.
- Maintaining old clients by constantly providing timely solutions to their complaints
- Work with the appropriate team until issues are resolved
- Giving timely responses to enquiries on all social media platforms
- Assist with the company’s stationaries and maintenance to avoid wastage
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of HND in Office Technology Management
- Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience as a Receptionist
- Excellent communication skills: A hotel receptionist must be able to efficiently communicate with guests, staff, and other departments of the hotel. They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to convey information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong computer skills: A hotel receptionist must possess strong computer skills and be proficient in using hotel reservation software, Microsoft Office, and other hospitality-related software.
- Customer service skills: A hotel receptionist must be customer-focused, approachable, friendly, and possess strong interpersonal skills. They must be able to solve problems and handle complaints or concerns tactfully while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Organizational skills: A hotel receptionist must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to multitask efficiently. They must be able to manage their time effectively and prioritize tasks to ensure that no guest is left waiting.
- Knowledge of hotel policies and procedures: A hotel receptionist must have a thorough understanding of the hotel's policies and procedures. They must be able to provide guests with clear information about check-in and check-out times, facilities, amenities, and fees.
