Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Hotel Operations:

  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by delivering world-class customer service.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee the smooth operation of the Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other hotel departments.
  • Maintain and enforce the highest standards of hospitality and service delivery.


Financial & Revenue Management:

  • Develop and implement pricing, sales, and revenue optimization strategies.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and occupancy reports to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor budgets, operational costs, inventory, and procurement activities.
  • Prepare and present operational and financial performance reports.


Team Leadership & Human Resources:

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of hotel staff.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate departmental coverage.
  • Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and ensure compliance with company standards and policies.


Compliance, Safety & Facility Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and fire safety procedures.\
  • Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and property improvement projects.
  • Maintain hotel security standards and ensure a safe environment for guests and employees.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, travel agencies, and other business partners.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of an HND in hospitality management, business administration, tourism management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant hospitality certifications will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience as a hotel manager, operations manager, or similar hospitality leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and guest service excellence.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and customer-focused mindset
  • Financial management and budgeting experience.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
