• Analyzing prescribed texts and adapting materials to cater to various learning styles.
• Using primary sources, multimedia resources, and modern teaching strategies to make history relevant and accessible.

• Delivering interactive lessons on significant historical figures, movements, and eras.
• Fostering inclusive and thought-provoking classroom discussions that challenge students to critically analyze historical contexts.
• Using digital technology to enhance presentations and keep students attentive.

• Designing and grading quizzes, exams, essays, and student projects to evaluate subject mastery.
• Providing constructive, actionable feedback to support individual student growth and academic progress.
• Utilizing school grading systems and platforms to keep accurate, transparent records of performance.

• Promoting the general well-being, attendance, and pastoral care of students within their care.
• Communicating effectively with parents and guardians through report cards and meetings to discuss student performance and interventions.
• Collaborating with fellow faculty members to cross-reference history with other subjects (e.g., literature, geography).

• Sourcing guest speakers, organizing historical events, and planning educational field trips to enrich learning.
• Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay up to date with educational best practices and historical research

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of NCE.
• 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.

Remuneration: NGN 70,000
