Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Quantity Surveyor, located in Lagos. The individual in this role will oversee comprehensive cost analysis, manage project budgets, and ensure adherence to financial planning guidelines. Responsibilities include preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), formulating detailed cost plans, conducting cost reporting, and implementing cost control measures to optimize project outcomes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for efficient project execution will be a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications
- 20+ years of Experience
- Experience in Cost Control and Cost Management to ensure efficient allocation of resources and budget compliance.
- Proficiency in developing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for various construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong skills in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting for accurate forecasting and financial tracking.
- Ability to lead a team, problem-solve effectively, and make data-driven decisions.
- Relevant degree or certification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, as well as proficiency with quantity surveying and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
