The Head of Rewards & Global Mobility provides strategic and technical expertise on reward within the People, Culture and Wellbeing Core Team, supporting Oxfam International Secretariat and other relevant parts of the confederation, specifically the Global Humanitarian Team (GHT) and Countries, Clusters and Regional Platforms.
The role will primarily focus on strategic leadership, guidance and framework development, with implementation supported through the Reward Shared Services (in case it is finally re-launched) and relevant structures across the Confederation.
The role will strengthen reward governance and frameworks across the organisation, lead on the assessment of the feasibility of the establishment of the Rewards shared services and contribute towards the development subject to the approval of its design and set up. Working across the 4 hubs within the Oxfam International Secretariat, the 4 Regional Platforms (Asia, MENA, LAC and Africa), the 4 clusters (SAF, CLV, CAM and NAF) and 26 country office teams, the role will contribute to the development of global reward approaches, including job architecture, pay governance, benchmarking, benefits strategy, global mobility frameworks, and reward analytics.
The role provides specialist advice and oversight on salary structures and reward frameworks across the Oxfam International Secretariat and wider Oxfam International (OI) entities, including GHT and Countries, Clusters and Regions.
Operating in a highly decentralised international organisation, the role will help ensure reward systems are transparent, equitable and sustainable, while recognising the complexity of operating across diverse labour markets, regulatory environments and currencies and Employer of Record (EOR) arrangements. The role will support the development of reward packages that balance financial and non-financial elements, ensuring they remain meaningful, equitable and aligned with organisational values, while taking into account any financial constraint facing the organisation.
The role will support the implementation and refresh of the Total Rewards Project, ensuring that reward practices align with Oxfam’s organisational transformation and current operating model, values and commitment to equity and inclusion.
The role will ensure continuity and evolution of the Total Rewards approach beyond the initial project cycle, supporting longer-term strategic alignment across the confederation.
