Head of Security / Logistics Officer

Responsibilities:

Security Management:

• Develop, implement, and oversee security policies, procedures, and protocols.
  
• Supervise security personnel across all estates, construction sites, and facilities.
  
• Conduct regular risk assessments, site inspections, and security audits.
  
• Monitor access control systems, surveillance (CCTV), and incident reporting procedures.
  
• Respond to emergencies, security breaches, and operational incidents.
  
• Ensure protection of company assets, equipment, staff, and visitors.
  
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies, local authorities, and emergency services when required.

Logistics & Operations:

• Coordinate company transportation, fleet management, and movement of materials/equipment.
  
• Plan and oversee logistics for project sites, ensuring timely delivery of supplies.
  
• Manage drivers, dispatch officers, and logistics support staff.
  
• Ensure proper documentation of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
  
• Support the procurement team with logistics planning and vendor coordination.
  

Reporting & Compliance:

• Maintain logs of incidents, patrol activities, vehicle movements, and security reports.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
  
• Prepare regular reports for management on security status, risks, and logistics performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a B.Sc. qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience managing guards and site teams
• Sound knowledge of material handling, access control, and incident reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Background in military or industrial security is an advantage.
