Head of Sales
Job summary
We are hiring a Head of Sales to lead national route to market expansion, premium brand penetration, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a seasoned commercial leader with deep experience in premium beverages or luxury FMCG, strong distributor network capability, and a track record of building high performing sales organizations.

Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a scalable national route‑to‑market and distributor ecosystem.
- Design and optimize channel strategies across traditional trade, modern trade, e‑commerce, and hospitality.
- Lead key account and modern trade penetration, securing listings, visibility, and volume growth.
- Strengthen trade visibility, in‑store execution, activations, and salesforce effectiveness.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that drive aspirational demand and purchase behavior.
- Elevate brand perception to win premium consumer segments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (2:1 minimum); MBA or advanced trade/consumer marketing certification required.
- 8-10 years of experience in premium beverages or luxury FMCG.
- Proven experience building national distributor networks and leading large‑scale commercial change.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role within a $5–10M+ enterprise.
- Experience in Sub‑Saharan Africa FMCG markets is an advantage.
