Risk Management oversees identification, assessment, and mitigation of credit, operational, and financial risks. Ensures portfolio quality, regulatory compliance, and effective risk controls while supporting business growth and protecting the institution from potential losses.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and monitor credit, operational, and market risks
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks and policies
- Review loan portfolios to ensure asset quality and minimize losses
- Monitor risk exposure and recommend mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk guidelines
- Conduct risk assessments and stress testing
- Prepare risk reports for management decision-making
- Support internal control and audit functions
- Train staff on risk awareness and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- 3–4 years of experience in risk management, credit, or audit (preferably in banking/MFB)
- Strong knowledge of risk analysis and credit assessment
- Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., CBN guidelines)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and integrity
- Proficiency in Excel and risk reporting tools
- Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, ICAN, ACCA) are an added advantage
