The Head of Retail Sales is responsible for driving retail business growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies across retail channels. The role leads the retail sales team to achieve targets in deposit mobilization, loan disbursement, and customer acquisition, while fostering strong customer relationships and ensuring compliance

Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Business Growth.
- Develop and implement retail sales strategies to drive growth in deposits, loans, and other financial products.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand the bank’s retail customer base.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Drive customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management.
- Develop partnerships and community engagement initiatives to increase market penetration.
- Ensure excellent customer service across all retail channels.
- Address escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all retail sales activities comply with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
- Implement strong controls to mitigate operational and credit risks.
- Reporting & Analytics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- MBA or professional certification is an added advantage.
- 6–10 years of experience in retail banking, microfinance banking, or financial services.
- Minimum of 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
